The Broadstone Cobbler: NFS
Well I really put my art and sole into this one (groan).
Shoe repairs & recycling; key cutting; watch straps & batteries; bin numbers, house signs, wheelie trollies... I had no idea he stocked some of these things until I started painting this one!
Oil on gessobord, 8 inches square.
(If you look towards the bottom of the main window, you should spot the back to front reflection of Oakley Butchers Broadstone’s sign opposite - one which I painted earlier in the series.)
