Acrylic painting knife artwork on wrapped linen board
Image size: 20 x 20 cms.
Inspiration: I was delivering cards to the National Trust shop at Studland Beach, and couldn't resist taking a peek at Old Harry's Rocks while I was there.I was rewarded with this fantastic sight - the most dazzingly blue sky, the long early morning shadows across the sand and there, in the distance, Old Harry himself. And who doesn't love a wind-swept tree?
Old Harry's Rocks mark the start of the Jurassic Coast, but have been known by sailors and fishermen for centuries as marking the safe return to the mouth of Poole Harbour just a few miles away.
Dorset Artist - inspired by nature and the beautiful wildflowers & coast of my home county
