Painted by applying thick impasto oil paint using a painting knife
Inspiration: The beautiful waterlilies are from the Italian Garden in Compton Acres, Dorset. I chanced upon the stunning dragonfly during a family trip to Kew Gardens. It was in one of the Waterlily glass houses and was the perfect subject to place amongst the waterlilies in my painting.
